How long have you been mixing? Started 92 but on and off

First party you went to? First rave was Astral Flight 1994

How did you get into oldskwl and what does it mean to you? Started listening to it while working in Dick Smith Electronics when I was 14. The manager played tapes and I copied them :) It’s a happy, energetic, peace-loving/creating genre that unites people. There’s no anger, no hatred, no racism, just unity. Just as this lyric from the Fat Controller says “In complete darkness we are all the same, it is only our knowledge and wisdom that separates us, don’t let your eyes deceive you”.

Describe your style and what can we expect to hear from you at Back to Unity. Starting at 10pm, I’ll be playing some older 1993 classic sounds with tracks like General Base - Back Again, Oceanic - Insanity, Golden Girls – Kinetic… Staying under 140bpm. This was the stuff I grew up on and love!
